Idaho Wasp and Yellowjacket Control at Gemtek Pest Control

Wasps and yellowjackets pose a real threat.

Wasps and Yellowjackets are very territorial and can be quite aggressive when their nests are disturbed. Their nests can be found in and around homes, garages, porches and shrubs. It is also common to find their nests on backyard play equipment, which make them especially dangerous when children are present. Wasps and Yellowjackets form colonies called swarms which consist of queens and workers. Colonies consisting of hundreds of these workers are not uncommon.

Maintenance Plans Take Away the Sting of Being Stung

This is an integral part of effective pest management because wasps and yellowjackets leave behind pheromones on their nests, which increases the likelihood of a re-infestation.
